Cbank adjusts Jan–Sep current account surplus, capital outflow data
MOSCOW, Dec 29 (PRIME) -- The central bank has increased Russia’s current account surplus by 46% to U.S. $22.4 billion and cut the capital outflow estimate to $16.5 billion from $21 billion for January–September, the regulator said in a statement on Friday.
In January–September 2016, capital outflow from Russia stood at $10 billion.
Russia’s external debt grew by 4% or by $22.5 billion since January 1, 2017 to $536.7 billion as of October 1, the authority said.
